Star Commander Ava Ward was a Clan Wolf and Clan Wolf-in-Exile MechWarrior, as well as bloodnamed warrior of the Ward bloodhouse, during the Dark Age Era.[1][2]
History
Ravager Star
Ward was initially a member of Ravager Star[1], a unit within Clan Wolf's 88th Wolf Battle Cluster[3][4][5]
In this unit, she acted as its close in muscle, using her 'Mech's melee weapon against dishonorable Inner Sphere opponents despite her typical Clan disdain for physical attacks.
Clan Wolf-in-Exile
By 3145 however, Ward had joined Clan Wolf-in-Exile, and become a perpetual loner in their Alpha Binary. By this stage of her tactics were to hang back early in an engagement, and then rush in to finish crippled 'Mechs before they could retreat, often tearing limbs and armor from downed 'Mechs to satisfy her rage.[2]
BattleMech
Ward was known to have piloted a VTR-U1-M Violator BattleMech, nicknamed "Cleaver".[1][2][4]
