Batteries are up to six-unit formations fielded by the armies of the Inner Sphere, specifically noted as an organizational scheme used for regimental-level Mobile Long Tom Artillery detachments or as the core of independent artillery battalions. At this time, it is unclear whether or not other artillery platforms are regularly sorted into batteries.[1]
