Owned by Captain Rachel McCloud, the Bristol was a Union-class DropShip operated by the Black Thorns mercenary unit.
History
As of 3067 the Thorns had modified the Bristol, altering the fighter bays to hold both additional BattleMechs and extra cargo, allowing the Bristol to also accommodate the additional pilots present within the unit. Despite evidently being capable of modifying the Bristol the Black Thorns were only capable of meeting three quarters of the technical support requirements of the DropShip in 3067.[1]
