Captain-Marshal of the Hanseatic Defense Force was the supreme commander of the Hanseatic Defense Force.[1] Besides streamlining the command chain in the HDF and securing operational independence from the politicking of the local merchants, they also served as the military’s voting member on the Council of Merchants.
