History

Donald Vincent was part of the Crimson Ace Dragoons unit when it was destroyed on Tiber, and the only survivor from the unit. After that, and prior to the Fourth Succession War, he worked for any petty lord or landholder who could pay his bills. He changed very often who he served, as he had a bad attitude and a moody and violent temper. He is famous for walking his 'Mech though the palace of a former employer after a wage dispute.[1]

Some time after that he got his nickname, Devil. During the Fourth Succession War he got a contract to help defend a small factory on Jonathan, most probably the Iveco Corporation[citation needed]. When the AFFS arrived he advanced towards the armor company sent to capture the facility. He did not however fire upon the enemy. Sticking to the letter of his contract and not the spirit, he did not engage the armor company sent to capture the site because the company ignored him and immediately fired a barrage into the factory, and with it on fire, Vincent continued to just stand by. When questioned later, he simply said: "I was contracted to defend the factory, with the factory burning, what point was there in getting in a fight?". [2]

Tactics
