In 3134, Francis Zappa was the Chief Technician of the Mississauga Militia. To continue using the Heavy Gauss Rifle of an unusable BXK-F7 Hollander II with only the resources of a minor planetary militia, he led the design of the Gauss-Buster MilitaMech and associated external power sources.[1]
