Description
The Hellstar was the result of a collaboration between Clan Hell's Horses and the Exiled Wolves on Arc-Royal during the last years of the Jihad. The 'Mech is a bit of a departure from most Clan BattleMechs, as it is more of a long-running campaign workhorse rather than the quick-and-deadly style of Clan warfare.
Armament
The Hellstar's primary configuration is composed of four Ripper Series A1 Extended Range Particle Projector Cannon.
With massive and inexhaustible firepower, alongside thick armor and good speed, the Hellstar is an ideal choice when supply lines could be cut or ammo scarce.
Variants
The Hellstar has no known variants.
Notable Pilots
- Sir Kristoff Erbe - A knight of the Republic of the Sphere, Sir Erbe pilots a customized Hellstar which has had its ER PPCs removed and replaced with two Large Pulse Lasers in the arms and two ER Large Lasers in the shoulders. It also utilizes a Targeting Computer. The mysterious troops known as the The Fidelis had modified the 'Mech for him.[1]
