History[edit]
Newberry was reported, by Senator Geoffrey Mallowes, to be a sometimes employer of political fixer Henrik Morten. Despite rumors regarding wrongdoing by Morten, Newberry was accordingly to Senator Mallowes impressed with Morten's coalition-building capabilities, and therefore remained one of his patrons.[3]
Notes[edit]
- Newberry is noted as Legate rather than Governor in one source[1], swapped with the individual otherwise named as Legate by other sources.[2] As the Dark Age: Republic Worlds (3130) listing of Republican planetary Governors and Legates is generally relied upon by other Canon sources such as Dark Age: 3132-3134 INN, over the one in Dark Age: Republic of the Sphere, its information has similarly been preferred as correct for the purposes of this article.
