Sergeant Gilchrist appears friendly and well adjusted to most people that meet him. Even in the field he's calm and collected while on the march. But when someone insults or provokes him he flies into a rage that often results in hospitalization for the offending party. This goes doubly in the field, he becomes a raging monster when someone has the audacity to fire at him. Rather than reprimand him, his commander assigned him to a Gunsmith in order to give him a beneficial outlet for his rage.[1]
