Janice Pigot was the commander of the Star League Defense Force's 279th BattleMech Division as of 2764.[1]
History[edit]
Major General Pigot was a graduate of Sandhurst Royal Military College, where she played on the volleyball team. The experienced inspired her to create a BattleMech version of the game when she became a division commander stationed on Afarsin with the 279th BattleMech Division.
The recordings of her troops playing BattleMech volleyball became a local media sensation, and circulated as far away as Atreus in the Free Worlds League.[1]
