Weiss, who was fanatically loyal to House Liao, fought against the Tooth of Ymir mercenary regiment on Betelgeuse during the Andurien Crisis. During this campaign, Weiss' Raven BattleMech was hit several times, causing an electronics overload. His canopy jammed trapping him in darkness for 30 minutes, receiving electric shocks from short-circuiting systems, as he fought a malfunctioning waste management system and praying no one shot at his disabled 'Mech.[1][2]
