Kritsada Krit Sirisopa, (born 3116) was one of the key leaders of the reborn Tamar Pact.

Personal History

The son of a well-respected Nagelring literature professor and one of Tharkad's foremost poets, both his parents expected his son to parlay her mother's connections to enter in the prestigious Lyran academy, made a brief career as LCAF officer, and then focus on academic pursuits... but he didn't chose to.[1] But, after Krit spent his early years nearby of future officers he considered soft and entitled soured him on the future expected from him. When he reached eighteen years, enlisted on the LCAF, determined to earn his way there. Krit rose steadly if not spectaculary through the ranks, buoyed by its positive attitude and a reputation of success. He never was a flashy MechWarrior, but earned a battlefield commission for his heroism during the Battle of Tharkad, when he organized two ad hoc lances to box in a Star of Wolves rampaging through Tharkad City and was assigned as lieutenant-colonel to the 26th Arcturan Guardshe found a kindred spirit on general Sarah Regis.[2] The 20 June 3151, Sirisopa assisted at a meeting with Regis and her other officers, deciding if move the 26th to Arcturus, as the Jade Falcons have abandoned it. The general wanted to go there, in which she named Operation Rubicon, by her own initiative. When the officers voted, Krit took a long time to answer, but his answer was affirmative, like of all other officers.[3] Sirisopa suported his unit, and Regis actions, even after she decided to de facto defect the LMAF and recreate the Tamar Pact. After their declaration, it was Krit the one who suggested what to do with the unit's Lyran loyalists: to let them go freely.[4] Ironically, Sirisopa was one of those most affected by the defections: though the total numbers was limited, he losed two of his most valuable assistants: the brothers Ronan Carlyle and Isobel Carlyle.[5]

Personality

Kritsada proved himself a very effective member of the officer corps he disdained so much. The troops respected his approachability, experience as enlisted man,and unwillingness to waste their lives without good cause. Unfortunately, Krit's new rank also embittered him more toward his fellow officers' incompetence and passive attitude, so inefectual to face threats to the lyran people. As leader of the First tamar Jaegers, he was an unvaluable asset building the esprit de corps of the unit, and preserving and expanding the Pact's limited resources.[6]

BattleMech

Sirisopa's only known 'Mech was an assault- class Cygnus.[7]
