Lacey McGill was a senior officer of the Star League Defense Force's 238th Mechanized Infantry Division and later founder of the Iron Raven Mercenary Group.[1]
History[edit]
In 2775, Colonel McGill and the remaining members of the 238th Mechanized Infantry Division were approached by agents of the Lyran Commonwealth looking to hire experienced SLDF soldiers for their growing military needs. Some elements of the 238th MI, under the command of Colonel David Cline, had been imprisoned for causing violence within the unit and the Lyrans offered to pay the 238th MI for their release. While McGill wanted to accept the Lyrans' offer, as well as a contract for her own troops, elements of the 238th MI loyal to Aleksandr Kerensky's ideals fiercely resisted her efforts to liberate Cline. Ultimately, Cline would be freed to create the Eighth Lyran Regulars, McGill's forces became the Iron Raven Mercenary Group, and the surviving Kerensky loyalists would leave the Inner Sphere as part of Operation EXODUS.[1]
