Lyran Intelligence Corps	The Lyran Intelligence Corps (LIC) is the intelligence arm of the Lyran Commonwealth. It contains six major branches:
Lohengrin	Lohengrin, is the counter-terrorism division. Operatives from Lohegrin are orphans and through indoctrination they get ruthless,fanatical agents on par with the DEST. Often uses for "internal threats]]. Many agents were deployed on the Federation of Skye on the eve of the outbreak of the rebellion of 3065.
Propaganda	Before the Civil war this division was passiv. During the reign of Katherine this changed drastictly. Their technicquer were now to supress "harmful" reports, to discredit a person how oppose the archon and they coordinated with Loki for dirty work.
Norns	Norns (named after the nordic fates) Is subdivided in an active and passive department. The passive department analyze all communication in the realm and in foreign states also. The active department own a networks of field agents and scouts. They have limited access to black boxes. Their goal is to predict foreign actions.
DC + DG	The Diplomatic Guard (DG) is charged with the protection of important induidual in thy LYran Alliance (bodyguard, transportation and couriers for sensitive information. The Diplomatic Corp often are part as staffmembers of ambassadors or nobles. They making contacs, gahter information, make negotioation. The DC uses softer techniques as the Loki/Lohengrin.
Espionage is composed by three subsections.
	Loki (named after the nordic god of lies) essentially a state-sponsored terrorist unit. Their task is not only to assassinate and sabotage enemies of the state, but also to strike fear into the hearts of the foreign enemies of the Lyran Commonwealth. The over-the-top brutality of Loki-agents is infamous throughout the whole Inner Sphere
	Bodians training, education, and deployment of operatives. Is the assignment and command branch. Its seeks new talents and transform it for a usefull tool for the Lyran Alliance.
	Molehunters counter-espionage, their task is to protect the Lyran State against all outside agents. Before the Civil war they discover and indentify agents from House Marik, Liao and Kurita, this changed under Archon Katherine. Their new enemies were the MIIOand the DMI. Also used during the Skye-rebellion of 3065 to find out if the rebels had infiltrated government agencies.
Heimdall	Heimdall is an unofficial department and in some ways a internal affairs safety valve. Formed by LIC-agents who consider themselves patriotic Lyrans. Unwilling to accept the massive collateral damage that often results from Loki-operations they sabotage those that they deem going to far. They are the "watchdog" of the lyran peoples.
