The Matsu Militia defended Matsu on the Capellan Confederation.[1]

History[edit]

Matsu was one of the targets of the sixth wave of attacks and was defended by just the planetary militia. The COC assigned the invasion of Matsu to the Seventh Crucis Lancers Regimental Combat Team, but the Matsu militia on the planet was sharply divided between those who refused to fight against the Federated Suns troops and those who were determined to remain loyal to Chancellor Maximilian Liao. The division prompted a brutal internecine conflict within the militia and left the Lancers with little more to do than bury the dead before annexing the planet.[1]
