Pennilyn Gilmore was the heiress of a Talitha-based timber company until her death in 3122.[1]
History
The Gilmore family staged a kidnapping of Pennilyn to boost business. When the family requested that the military not intervene, a group of forestry workers took matters into their own hands, modifying their Crosscuts and going to battle. They were effective against the hired 'kidnappers', but Pennilyn died, and in the aftermath, the family found itself in legal trouble.[1]
