Prime Marshal

Prime Marshal was a rank in the Armed Forces of the Federated Suns that was given to an officer that commanded the AFFS when the Prince was unable or unwilling to do so. This position predates and was replaced by the Prince's Champion. The last person to hold this rank was Prime Marshal Peter Davion during the reign of Prince Michael Davion.
