Promised Land Assault

After Archon Robert Marden commented that he `would not mind drinking a glass of champagne from the world of Promised Land', his overconfident Generals undertook a disastrous mission to take the Free Worlds League-owned world. By the time Marsden learned of the operation and tried to stop it, it was far too late. Ten Lyran Commonwealth Regiments, including one Elite Jump Infantry Regiment and one Elite Armored Vehicle Regiment were wiped out. Instead of blaming their own faults, all surviving commanders blamed Marsden. 21 days later, Archon Robert Marsden was found dead in his bedchambers.
