Ross Malone was the name of a Waco Rangers Shilone pilot in the TO&E published in Challenge Magazine as a preview for Mercenary's Handbook. When the information was officially released, the pilot was changed to Ross Lamone as Ross Malone appeared in Technical Readout: 3025 as a Wasp MechWarrior. Dale L. Kemper wrote for all three publications.
