MechWarrior Ross Malone was an officer with the McGee's Cutthroats during the early thirty-first century.[1][2]
History[edit]
Malone was a member of Cushing's Scout Lance of McGee's Cutthroats, and was noted as one of the best trackers in the Inner Sphere, and an expert in 'Mech camouflage. His mission was generally shadowing enemy formations prior to battle, in order to gather intel.
Malone was also known for refusing promotions, as he preferred to continue in his role as a scout.[1][2]
BattleMech[edit]
Malone piloted a Wasp BattleMech named Nightshroud. Malone personally repainted his 'Mech in appropriate camo patterns after every campaign.[1][2]
Notes[edit]
Ross Malone was also the name of a Waco Rangers Shilone pilot in the TO&E published in Challenge Magazine as a preview for Mercenary's Handbook. When the information was officially released, the pilot was changed to Ross Lamone. Dale L. Kemper was the author of both pieces.
