The mercenary Stafford's Light Cavalry is a unit of unknown origin though most of the pilots if not all are from a Federated Suns heritage.
Not much is known of them. They were in garrison duty in Groveld III.[1]

- The unit was only described in The Fox's Teeth: Exploits of McKinnon's Raiders as part of one of the scenarios which was more centered on his leader that in any other thing.
- The planet Grovel III does not appear in any actual official map. Most probably this is a secondary world in a system that cannot be identified just by the information we have.[1]
