Striker (BattleTech) and Stryker (Real-Life)

I apologize for my incorrect post, I wasn't aware that the Striker from BattleTech was published 10 years before the Stryker in real-life was first fielded. That could have been a coincidence, but if the engineers behind the Stryker were fans of BattleTech, then I wouldn't be surprised. ~Amaroq Starwind~ (talk) 17:15, 19 April 2018 (EDT)

An Addendum
Though the designs are very similar, the real-life Stryker if used in BattleTech would be 15 metric tons lighter and have a movement profile of 6/9 as opposed to 5/8, though both the armor and armaments would be different. I am also not sure how having 8 wheels would translate into gameplay though, maybe we could ask Catalyst?~Amaroq Starwind~ (talk) 17:23, 19 April 2018 (EDT)
