Since I think the vast majority of pages link to Succession Wars (History), would anybody mind if I change the Succession Wars redirect to point there, with a link back here should they be looking for the board game? --Scaletail 12:59, 19 March 2008 (CDT)

I think that would make sense. Plus, if somebody really wants to link to the boardgame then it should not be too much hassle to use the proper link (bypassing the disambiguation page). Frabby 06:52, 20 March 2008 (CDT)

As this term has become (or always has been) so prevalent in BT, I've expanded the page a bit beyond our normal disambig format guidelines to encompass a wider range of pages the reader may be looking for on the subject of the wars. Perhaps we can also look at how our various links are being handled in case coming to this disambig can be avoided. Right now my feeling is that most of the hundreds of pages linking here would be best being redirected to History of the Succession Wars, with the disambig page going back to "Succession Wars (disambiguation)", but feedback is welcome.
