• 23 May 2021: MegaMek Development Release 0.49.1 (Revanche)

A new development release for the MegaMek suite resolves some issues with both MegaMek and MekHQ.

• 21 May 2021: Blood Will Tell & Recognition Guide: ilClan, vol. 16 (Revanche)

A new Dark Age novel by Jason Schmetzer and the 16th volume of the ilClan series of Recognition Guides have been released.

• 18 May 2021: New faction on the MUL (Revanche)

The Master Unit List now provides the Star League In Exile as a searchable faction under the Homeworld Clan column.

• 07 May 2021: Recognition Guide: ilClan, vol. 15 (Revanche)

The 15th volume of the ilClan series of Recognition Guides has been released.

• 02 May 2021: Eridani Light Horse, Proliferation Cycle, and Dark Age fiction (Revanche)

Three new fiction e-publications are now released: Conflicts of Interest, No Tears (Parts One & Two of The Eridani Light Horse Chronicles, respectively), and The Trickster (The Proliferation Cycle, Part 7); 2003's Dark Age novel, A Silence in the Heavens, has been re-released.

• 23 Apr 2021: Recognition Guide: ilClan, vol. 14 & Core Rulebook reprints (Revanche)

Recognition Guide: ilClan, vol. 14 is now released, as are reprints of the core rulebooks Total Warfare, BattleTech Manual, and Alpha Strike: Commander's Edition.

TEST MISSION STATEMENT: This section (Newsbursts) is reserved for items of note relating to the overall BattleTech community, including release news of canon, officially licensed (ala, video games), and major fanon (e.g., MegaMek) products. Each should link to the external source that reports the notable event or a purchase site. Default minimum posts for Newsbursts should be three, though it should be kept fresh with new information as much as possible. While items should be listed chronologically, posts removed from the section (and copied to the archive) should be culled based on importance of the information being presented; in other words, if a post is deemed to be more relevant than another, it does not have to be removed in lieu of a later-dated post. Posts should not link to Sarna News, the site's internal news division, though both may carry reports on the same announcements.
