Purpose
This template attempts to warn a first time offender on BTW's Vandalism policy and is intended where the providing Editor cannot assume either good or bad faith, in regards to the warned edit. In other words, for this second level warning, the Editor does not know if the offender is aware that his/her edit could be considered in poor form, but may need to be informed of the BTW policy.
The four levels of warning are:
- 1. Assumes good faith
- 2. No faith assumption
- 3. Assumes bad faith; stern cease and desist
- 4. Assumes bad faith; strong cease and desist, last warning
Usage
- Place one of the bolded codes below on the user's talk page:

- {{subst:Spam-2|Article}} references a specific article
- {{subst:Spam-2|Article|Additional text}} adds more text onto the end of the message
- Replace the terms following the pipes ( | ) with the name of the page where the offense took place (second and third code) and any additional comments necessary to help alleviate the problem (third code only).
