Toxoplasma gondii hardcorea is a parasite infestation, which normally impacts a patient's brain, and results in toxoplasmosis. However in some cases, in addition to toxoplasma-induced paranoid schizophrenia, the disease can also target a patient's endocrine system resulting in the appearance of rapid premature aging.

It was suggested, in Luxen Journal of Medicine, Vol. LXVIII in 3119, that T. gondii hardcorea may have been the cause of the "wasting disease" suffered by Sun-Tzu Liao.[1]
