First off, welcome aboard. With your interest in 'Mechs, I hope you ran across Project BattleMechs. Feel free to sign up if you'd like. As to your question, I have no idea about the grammatically correct way to deal with acronyms, so I usually try not to (one LRM-15, etc.). When in doubt, I got with the method that sounds better, because, really, that's all a/an is about. As for BTech products, there are many websites you can order from if you'd like, including BattleCorps' BattleShop (www.battlecorps.com/catalog) and Dragon's Trove for some older stuff (www.dragonstrove.com).
