Hannan was known to have piloted a ‘’Zeus’’ BattleMech, serial number LA9155-43F, nicknamed "Ian".[2] Rebuilt several times, including as a Clan Invasion era refit and following the FedCom Civil War battles on Hesperus II. Returning to Skye in the hands of Ian Hannan just before the Word of Blake Jihad, Viktor’s great-grandfather, it survived that conflict and the Republic’s peace in a bunker on the Hannan family farm.[1]
