Annie Hartl was a Solaris VII Astech, MechWarrior and Corporate Executive during the thirty-first century.[1]

AsTech[edit]
Initially an Astech working for participants in the Solaris Games, Hartl used her skills to restore a junked 'Mech which had been written off after a losing bout, and subsequently became a MechWarrior.[1]
Solaris Home Defense League[edit]
This new status was tested during the Word of Blake Jihad, when Hartl became a mainstay of the Solaris Home Defense League and a symbol of Solaris' resistance to the Word of Blake, when her restored 'Mech's first steps led her into combat against the Blakists. Piloting one of the few 'Mech which remained operational during the darkest days of the Jihad on Solaris, due to her skills as a Tech, her 'Mech was finally destroyed fighting a Blakist Crab in 3071.[1]
VEST[edit]
Hartl however survived the loss of her 'Mech, and the Jihad as a whole, going on to become Executive Vice President of Technical Support at famed Solaris BattleMech design firm Vining Engineering and Salvage Team in 3081.[1]
BattleMechs[edit]
Hartl was known to have piloted a Chameleon BattleMech, named "Able", which she restored herself from scrap after it had been seriously damaged during a losing Solaris VII bout. This 'Mech was ultimately destroyed in 3071 during the Jihad.[1]
