Vice Admiral Desmond Jecks was the commander of the Star League Defense Force's 41st Line Squadron as of 2764.[1]

Jecks was the son of JumpShip construction workers, who was more comfortable in space than on any planet. He kept a tight ship while running his unit, constantly testing his crews with drills and exercises.[1]
