Dimitri Shenzeng was a Capellan Confederation Armed Forces MechWarrior who became a mercenary under Jake Mason of Nik's Cavaliers.[2]
History[edit]
Born on Randar in 2992, Dimitri Shenzeng came from House Shenzeng, a noble house long known for producing MechWarriors who loyally served the Capellan Confederation for centuries. During the final decade of the Third Succession War, Dimitri was downed in battle and taken captive alongside a number of other Capellan pilots by pirates operating out of the Free Worlds League, who demanded a ransom for their return. Unwilling to bow to their request, Dimitri's father instead opted to hire the services of Nik's Cavaliers to rescue his son, who tracked the pirates to Lopez and then Ryerson where they succeeded in rescuing the captives.[2]
Feeling that he owed Commander Mason for rescuing him from the pirates, Dimitri's deep sense of honor led him to declare a life-debt to Mason, pledging his allegiance to Nik's Cavaliers.[2]
