WarDog Mike - Newbie
Hi, I am kind of new to this so I apologize if I muck stuff up... I could not find an entry window until I got here so, if someone would walk me through it, I can put this where it actually belongs...
War Dog Mike is a 47 year old father of 2 (boys aged 9 & 11)from Cincinnati, OH; who loves Battletech...As a member of BTI (BattleTech International Facebook page) I could only rarely comment or post as everyone was talking about the Word of Blake, or the Jihad. After being out of Battletech for over 20 years, there is so much now that is new and things I have not read. I quickly got frustrated as people talked about rules or mech designs I had never heard of. I decided to do something about it... I broke away and formed the BattleTech 3025'ers 3rd/4th Succession Wars Facebook page, and in less than 4 months I am approaching 250 members with 8 admins. A place for people to target the first era of play and have open discussions about that period and that period only... So I am sure you are asking...Why is WarDog Mike here?
I am here because I use Sarna.Net daily to answer questions, find source material, and censor my own Facebook page to stay true to the 3025 Era time period. Breaking into the A Time of War- the role-playing game, a true 3025 Sourcebook is missing...Information here is a hodge podge of eras, meaning I have to read VOLUMES of information to find a fact or two I need for the 3025'ers. I am hoping to help cross reference materials and ultimately submit a sourcebook for the Era to Catalyst so that those who want to play 3025 Era can do so without feeling like outcasts...
Thanks WarDog Mike
