Hailing from a backwater Chaos March world, Lieutenant Strahan always gazed at stars but lived in dust. The walls of the cities were closed to Strahan and her family, until one day ships bearing the mark of a downturned sword landed, swept away ComStar and the urban elites, and brought food, technology, and opportunity to her people. From that day, Strahan followed her saviors' every request, studying, training, and eventually joining the Hsien Hotheads as an "observer." From nothing, Strahan had risen to pilot one of the most powerful machines known to humanity and she owed her family's newfound prestige and fortune to the kindness, generosity, and wisdom of the Word of Blake.[1]
