Jeremy Hoffmann was a member of a Star League Defense Force elite marine honor guard. He and members of his team guarded Star League diplomats, being posted in front of all diplomatic missions, and were trained in crowd control, terrorist techniques, and personal combat.[1]
Hoffmann's only weapon was a small stun wand. He also carried a device that could open or lock security doors throughout a diplomatic compound.[1]
