ProfessionArena Gladiator

Karl "Necksnap" Nettleton was a MechWarrior fighting in the Class Two Solaris Games during the Third Succession War.[1]

History[edit]

"Necksnap" Nettleton piloted a customized COM-3A Commando he named Amarok in the Solaris arenas, achieving middling success in twelve consecutive Solaris tournaments, with many observers considering his 'Mech more notable than its pilot.[1]

Nettleton would disappear from public view to an unknown fate during the final years of the Third Succession War, coincidentally around the very same time Amarok appeared in the hands of former Solaris gladiator and mercenary Chris Eck.[1]

Tactics[edit]

As implied by his fight nickname, "Necksnap"'s signature combat style focused on physical combat, with Amarok customized to enhance its close-combat abilities.[1]

BattleMechs[edit]

Named by Nettleton as Amarok, his Commando featured a number of aftermarket modifications to enhance both its presence and abilities in the arenas. Amarok was fitted with bulked up shoulders to give it a more intimidating silhouette, improved life support systems and battlefists to facilitate "Necksnap"'s signature moves.[1]
