Ockham's Blood Disease was a sometimes fatal and untreatable disease.
A notable sufferer was Kell Hound Lieutenant-Colonel Akira Brahe, who was diagnosed with a very rare form of the disease in 3076 at age 75, and was at the time expected to die within two to three years from its symptoms.[1]
