Peter Knopf was a MechWarrior in the Florida Timbuktu Theater Militia.[1]
History[edit]
Sergeant Knopf was a patriotic Lyran when Margrave Diego Widmer declared himself Warlord of the Buena Collective. On 6 June 3147 Knopf and the Florida TMM landed on Ayacucho to crush the rebellion and was surprised to find the still-forming Second Collective Guards present on world. Knopf was able to use his MMLs to cripple the legs of several rebel ’Mechs. The fighting ground to a stalemate however, by the 18th both forces were camped only several hundred kilometers from each other as they both waited for reinforcements. Six months later, on 7 January 3148 reinforcements arrived, and the Second Collective either retreated or surrendered. Knopf's accomplishments should have fast tracked him to promotion, but that was not to be.[1][2][3]
In June 3148 the Florida TTM defected to the Timbuktu Collective, a move Knopf opposed. In turn he drew fire from at least seven of his comrades, reducing his Locust and him to scrap.[1][4]
