Apocryphal This article's subject is only mentioned in apocryphal sources, i.e. official BattleTech products which are not clearly Non-canon but do not meet the current Canon criteria either. For more information, check the Canonicity section. |
Canonicity[edit]
This weapon was featured in an official BattleTech product, namely the MechAssault series of computer games.[1][2]
By virtue of being an official albeit not positively canonical product, the game expansion and the weapons and equipment presented therein including this one must be considered apocryphal. The Plasma PPC is an ancient weapon design, used extremely rarely, and is seen in MechAssault 2: Lone Wolf and MechAssault: Phantom War.
Description[edit]
The Plasma PPC is a more accurate, yet weaker, version of a PPC. This weapon generates less heat and charges faster than normal PPCs, and weighs fifteen tons. The weapon was discovered by the Word of Blake, and is used by the Lone Wolves.
