It was the character's first appearance, he was "introduced himself" & his ship to Lt. Redburn. I should have said, Captain von Bruenig welcomes Lt. Redburn aboard. -- Wrangler 01:25, 7 July 2009 (UTC)

I see you haven't corrected it, so I'm a bit confused. Do you mean it should read, "Captain Stefan von Breunig is introduced?" I can't fix it, since I'm unfamiliar with the novel, and can't refer to it. I need the guidance of someone who does have access to it (if I am to fix it).
