Talk:Trial of Possession

First two sentences of the intro paragraph are essentially the same. 71.70.77.160 02:26, 17 February 2011 (UTC)

Completed an initial rewrite to clean up and clarify a little. Needs more work to bring up to standards Wookiebear 04:49, 17 February 2011 (UTC)

"Can't claim bondsmen from trial of possession unless bargained before hand" - are we sure about this? I know the games aren't exactly primary canon, but in MW4:Mercs that's exactly how you get Aisa Thastus. The bargaining before it mostly just consists of the Falcon being annoyed at you for undercutting her bid. 124.148.242.140 11:11, 3 April 2012 (PDT)

I'd like to start over with this[edit]

Putting this here so others have a chance to object before I start. I consider this an essay, more than anything: it has only one source, and the text and detail here are greater than the text and detail in the listed sourcebook. Normally when adding citations to an article, I try to preserve what is there and just find sources for it, but I feel that would be too much to ask in this case.

I want to start with Era Digest: Golden Century, give a summary of what is there, and then add two of the most notable Trials of Possession: the Battle of Tukayyid and the IlClan Trial. Certainly there are many books that feature Trials of Possession, and some of those would involve details and variants worthy of addition, but we should add those over time with citations.

I'll give this a few days, and if I don't hear any major objections, I'll just write a new article here.--Talvin (talk) 13:03, 20 May 2022 (EDT)
