History[edit]
Tiger Hunt was a minor mercenary unit. Contracted in 3147 by Julian Davion, First Prince of the Federated Suns, they were part of Fortune Able, of Operation CERBERUS, departing from Goshen along the rest of task force on Early March. During a resupply run to Acala, they landed, among other minor mercenary units... and the Hunt went AWOL, expecting to join the Capellan local agitators. But they had made a mistake: they weren't really on Acala, but Axton, where they won't find any resistance. in fact, all the resupply run wasn't more than a simple smokescreen to uncover potential traitors in the force. And it had succeeded with them. Admiral Ryan Davion-Coles III denounced them as traitors and send the First Davion Auxiliary to hunt them down across the planet. Eventually, they cornered them against an impassible mountain range. The Hunt's members fought to the last man, but the Auxiliares, in fact, following Davion-Coles orders, didn't kill them, but destroyed all their equipment before leaving them, stranded in the mountain slopes. The Admiral later informed the planetary government of the Hunt's treachery, which hunted down in a worldwive manhunt any Tiger which didn't died on the mountain.[1]
