Hey fellers and fellerettes!

I'm Mass and I love the Battletech universe dearly.

If for whatever the reason you've stumbled onto my humble little profile, welcome! Kick off your shoes and make yourself comfortable.

Maybe I'll extend my profile one day if I ever am bored.

Anyways; here's my favourite 'Mechs by class (starting with light 'Mechs), and why! Enjoy :3

Light B - Mechs:

Panther 9R: Solid 'Mech, great modding potential, great firepower.

Javelin 11N: Solid machine, altough I like to switch out the jump jets for more armour.

Medium B - Mechs:

Now we're starting to understand one another better, good! Let's do this.

Blackjack 1: Very durable and reliable, remove the jump jets (yet again) and add armour. Boom, it'll hold its own. Although I don't like to use it in MW5. Battletech (videogame) only.

Centurion 9a: Solid 'Mech to train torso twisting. Other than that, good armour and firepower.

Chameleon 7V: fast, well armoured and enough firepower to pause some fellers enough until reinforcements arrive. My preferred loadout in BTA 3062: Remove the jump jets, as is common, upgrade the engine to an XL model (clanner XL preferred), add twin ER Large Lasers (also clan models), remove the smol lazurs and add more medium Lasers. Oh, and don't forget ferro and DHS's.

That's pretty much all that come to mind in terms of medium 'Mechs.

Now for the more interesting classes.

Heavy B - Mechs:

Rifleman 3N: Pretty darn good if you downgrade the Large Lasers to ER medium ones. Add armour, DHS's and last but not least, upgrade the AC5's to UAC 5's. Done.

Warhammer 6R: Aka: The Corehammer :3 It just gets the job done. But if we's talkin' specifics, there: ER PPC's, XL Engine, SRM 6, four ER medium Lasers and DHS. Me like dis.

Black Knight 6b: Very good allrounder and doesn't need ammo. Just a Clan XL, clan weaponry, clan DHS and more of them. Also Ferro, clan ferro. It actually shines best with clanner stuff. And use the saved weight for extra armour and heatsinks.

Orion 1-M: Solid brawler and can hold its own at range. Remove the NARC though and upgrade the SRM to a 6 rack one. Rest's armour.

Marauder 2R: Solid 'Mech all around. Can't go wrong with SLDF models.

Now for my favourite class: Assault 'Mechs!

Awesome 8Q: It's just simply awesome! I once modded one in MW5 with a Clan XL, I think a 260 rated core? Not sure about that one. And.. added.. Five ER PPC's. With barely enough heatsinks. DHS of course. Sounds epic if you're using a double click function on your mouse.

Highlander 732b: A great Assault 'Mech, nicknamed the "Corelander" by myself. It's a bit hard to improve on this design but doable. You could switch out the weaponry for clan equivalents and add armour and better sensors or whatever. Keep the jump jets though, cause Highlander Burial.

Battlemaster 1G: Sturdy, reliable, and effective. Remove the mg's and add more armour plus DHS's and an ER PPC. Good to go.

Atlas / Atlas II: Yes. The stomp. Very gud. I like pretty much all of the models. I usually like to reconfigure the loadout like this for pretty much any Atlas: (All clan components) UAC 20, 2x ER Large Lasers, 2x ER Medium Lasers, LRM 20, 2x SRM 6 (if you have the missile slots), sometimes ER PPCs in place of the ER Large Lasers. And don't forget the XL Engine plus DHS kit.

That thing rips everything to shreds in seconds.

Annihilator 1-A / 2-A: The Anihilator's a.. different breed, I tell you hwat! Great firepower, below average armour and slow as a turtle. I always modify that sucker. Here's my preferred loadout: 4 / 5 UAC5s, 12 Tons of ammo with C.A.S.E, clanner ferro, clanner XL, a 300 rated core and if the tonnage allows for it then a targeting computer. Also DHS's.

More 'Mechs will be added I guess. But for now, that's it.
