The planet Winfield was originally named "Treeline". The planet was renamed in honor and gifted to the commanding officer of the Stealths by Archon Elizabeth Steiner after the Stealths' destruction during the conquest of Sakhalin in 2863.[2]

[edit] Clan Ice Hellion Invasion

During June 3071, the planet is briefly taken by Clan Ice Hellion, lead by Khan Raina Montose in her Clans' campaign carve a occupation zone from Clan Jade Falcon's space. The initial invasion destroys the Clan Jade Falcon Industrial Complexes 245 & 249. The planet is retaken six months later by Clan Jade Falcon's Alpha Galaxy.[3]
