− | :The April 3029 stuff is directly from the game, Crescent Hawks Revenge. I've recently replayed it to squeeze information from it for this wiki. Other than that, L-K missiles are obviously in some official rulebooks which I do not own, but there are plenty of references. L-K is Level 3 rules I am told. I would question whether the LKs are canon at this point. Like many of the technologies released in the Tactical Handbook, it was removed later on, perhaps? Source?
I've never heard of this. What is the source? --Scaletail 23:12, 23 March 2008 (CDT)
- I think it's from the War of 3039 book. I have the 3039 preview downloaded from the CBT site, and it has the Listen-Kill missiles detailed in there. Haruspex 01:52, 24 March 2008 (CDT)
- The April 3029 stuff is directly from the game, Crescent Hawks Revenge. I've recently replayed it to squeeze information from it for this wiki. Other than that, L-K missiles are obviously in some official rulebooks which I do not own, but there are plenty of references. L-K is Level 3 rules I am told. Frabby 17:45, 24 March 2008 (CDT)
Clans immune
"Clan units are automatically immune to the effects of Listen-Kill technology." - any idea how's that possible? The Colorful Project 16:58, 20 February 2010 (UTC)
- It says so in the rules. In-universe, I think Clan technology is assumed to include the advanced emission dampening that negates LK missile effect by virtue of its advanced tech level. Frabby 10:27, 21 February 2010 (UTC)
Canonicity
I would question whether the LKs are canon at this point. Like many of the technologies released in the Tactical Handbook, it was removed later on, perhaps? ClanWolverine101
- They canonically exist in-universe, there is no doubt about that. However, the in-universe fluff also states that after a short time, an easy refit to 'Mechs negated their effect. They are a moot technology, but do (or did) exist. Much of this is mentioned in the War of 3039 sourcebook. Frabby 10:27, 21 February 2010 (UTC)
