W. J. Hardy (Born ???? - Died ????) was the commanding officer of the Fourteenth Donegal Guards for over thirty years.
History
Recall to Lyran space
In 3057 the Fourteenth answered the call from Katherine Steiner-Davion to return to the Lyran Alliance, feeling this would leave them unprotected in the face of a Capellan aggression some of the local populace attempted to stop the unit leaving. Firing warning shots near to the crowd of protestors forced their dispersal but later drew criticism from Duchess Candace Liao resulting in Hardy being relieved of his command of the unit.[1]
