Talk:Essay:Clan Naval Forces

Not an Essay

For the record, I disagree with the move of this article to Essay. It doesn’t meet the criteria for an essay. I would rather describe it as a landing page. Frabby (talk) 12:48, 11 March 2023 (EST)

I don't feel it fits any other place on the wiki either, but it has the startings of what could be an essay on the subject of Clan naval power.--Dmon (talk) 12:56, 11 March 2023 (EST)

About specific ships

Although the Michael Norman is mentioned in the text, the Long March and Noble House curiously are not despite being named in the same BattleSpace scenario. All three were supposedly destroyed in the Pentagon Civil War (but I agree with the possibility that the Michael Norman was perhaps later recovered and salvaged, to explain the stated numbers).

The Tripitz was an SLDF ship but there is nothing to suggest she became part of the Exodus fleet. The derelict was later found on the literal other periphery end of the Inner Sphere. So I’m unsure why it even gets mentioned here? Frabby (talk) 02:54, 12 December 2023 (EST)

I haven't seen the March and Noble. They don't ring a bell, and I've read too damn much on these Warships for a year. I'll get my reading hat on...
Tirpitz is only becuse the number is stated as surviving the Civil War (to my recollection without my books in front of me right this second). Tirpitz survived. The other ships survived. Was the Tirpitz included in that number? I don't think it discuses the numbers going on Exodus, but I see the issue. Mostly, I try to give benefit of a doubt on numbering these things, but I'll review and change if needed. Thanks for the feedback, though.Ocherstone (talk) 09:06, 12 December 2023 (EST)
