Fortress Laiacona was a Star League era Fortress which survived the Amaris Coup, kept in use through the Succession Wars and Second Star League. The fortress was a symbol of pride for the people of Thorin, which used it as a garrison base. It was the last surviving symbol of the original Star League that Thorin had left standing intact[1]until it was destroyed by the Word of Blake during the Jihad.[2][3]
