Overview
The Eleventh Royal BattleMech Division was a part of the Star League Defense Force Regular Army. It was one of the SLDF's Royal units, which consisted of troops from the Terran Hegemony.
History
In 2764, the unit was assigned, as a part of the II Corps, Eleventh Army, to District 2 of the Lyran Commonwealth Military Region but was moved to an undisclosed area of the Periphery to take part in the Periphery Uprising by 2765.[1]. The 11th survived the war and the Hegemony Campaign, and followed General Aleksandr Kerensky on the Exodus in 2784.[1]
Notable Members of the Regiment
David Rippon, a founding member of Clan Smoke Jaguar and test pilot for Mountain Wolf BattleMechs, served as a member of the 11th Royal BattleMech Division during the Amaris Civil War[2].
Daniel Mattlov, a founding member of Clan Jade Falcon served as an Aerospace pilot in the 11th Royal BattleMech Division during the Amaris Civil War[3].
Composition
As an SLDF BattleMech Division the 11th would have been composed with two Brigades of 'Mech regiments and a brigade of Mechanized Infantry regiments.[4]
