Overview
The One Hundred Ninety-second Dragoon Regiment was a part of the Star League Defense Force Regular Army.
History
In 2764, the unit was assigned, as a part of the LXVII Corps, Twentieth Army, to the Periphery Military Region.[1] Though they left their duty station on New India when the Twentieth Army was ordered to leave the Rim Worlds Republic, they were lingering on Al Jafr. The commanding officer, Colonel Daughtry, cited DropShip maintenance problems which stranded the unit for four months, and later issued a six-month medical quarantine. SLIC suspected that something else was going on, which would be borne out later.[2]
The 192nd declared for the rebels during the Periphery Uprising in 2765 and later in 2770 became the pirate band known as McLaren's Forgotten.[1][3]
Composition
As an SLDF Dragoon regiment the 192nd would have been composed primarily of heavy to assault 'Mechs, tanks and hovercraft.[4]
