First Falcon Sentinels Cluster
Affiliation Clan Jade Falcon
Parent Command

The First Falcon Sentinels was the only regular force of the Clan Jade Falcon Remnants.

Description

The First Falcon Sentinels were described as an assortment of Clan Warriors robbed from the cradle or rescued from the nursing home by Clan Hell's Horses saKhan Fulk Lassenerra. However, they demonstrated what can be achieved by a charismatic and talented leader like Jiyi Chistu: their victory against the Horses invaders molded the disparate elements which composed the Sentinels into an effective fighting force. Thanks to Sudeten's factories, all their warriors were equipped like a front-line Clan unit, with many OmniMechs salvaged from the battlefield.[1]

History

The first garrison Cluster was the main – and, to that date, only – front-line unit of the Jade Falcon Remnants. It is implied that it was formed around the Trinary of Chiyi Jitsu onboard VaultShip Gamma. Reinforced by newly retrained solahma warriors, and probably from parts of the garrison on Graus and Dompaire, it soon reached a Cluster in strength.[2]

Two Trinaries of the Cluster participated in Chistu's raid on Quarell. There they defeated the Clan Ghost Bear garrison and took dozens of bondsmen and young Bear cadets but lost about twenty MechWarriors and Elementals doing it, a Pyrrhic victory at best.[3]

The Cluster barely had time to rest on Sudeten before Clan Hell's Horses arrived in March 3152. The Battle of Sudeten took a heavy toll on the Cluster. It was said that, after the battle, barely two Trinaries were active. The exact losses are unknown, but they must have been heavy.[4]
